Tables

Remove duplicates

A membership list, email addresses or an export with duplicate rows: Rekenblad keeps every line once and shows what was duplicated.

How it works

Remove duplicates in three steps

  1. Paste your list or table

Or open a text or CSV file.

  2. Choose what counts as a duplicate

Ignore capitals and spaces or not; for a table, click the columns.

  3. Take the result

Copy the list or download it.

Questions

Good to know

  • Which line stays?

The first one, in the order of your list. If you choose ‘The last’, the last one stays. The order of what remains doesn’t change.

  • Can I compare on one column, such as the email address?

Yes. Choose ‘Rows of a table’ and click the column letter of the email address. Two rows with the same email address then count as duplicates, even if the name is different.

  • Does my list go to a server?

No. Everything happens in your own browser.
