Is a password from Rekenblad safe?
It’s made with your browser’s cryptographic random generator, the kind also used for encryption. It never leaves your device and Rekenblad doesn’t store it anywhere.
Password or passphrase?
A passphrase of five or six ordinary words is as strong as a short password full of symbols, and much easier to type and remember.
How is the strength calculated?
From how many possibilities there are: the length and the characters or the word list. The guessing time assumes a fast computer making ten billion attempts per second.
