Can I choose an EAN number myself?
For your own shelves or stock, yes. To sell in shops you need numbers registered with GS1. Rekenblad draws the code; it doesn’t issue numbers.
What is the check digit?
The last digit of an EAN, calculated from the others. It lets a scanner notice a misread digit. Type 12 digits and Rekenblad adds the thirteenth.
Does my data go to a server?
No. The barcode is drawn in your own browser.
